The icons at the top left hand corner of each page allow you to choose the text size for the whole website in order to make the pages readable and accessible. The font settings have been carefully chosen to maintain a consistent page layout and mean that you shouldn't need to alter your browser display settings. If you find that the site is still difficult to view at the largest text setting please let us know by emailing us.

Visual impairment and computing: more advice

There are several approaches, used singly or in combination, to enable a visually impaired person to use a computer more effectively. These approaches are described in a PDF* document that can be downloaded here.

* PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It allows you to read a document as it originally appeared in paper format. Most computers come shipped with Adobe Acrobat Reader allowing you to read PDF documents. If you don't have Acrobat Reader installed, click here for the latest version from the Adobe website.
